Rocket Lab

Rocket Lab is a global leader in launch services and space systems, delivering reliable missions that make accessing space faster, easier, and more affordable. Founded in 2006 by Peter Beck, the company has become a key player in the space industry with its innovative approach and proven track record.

Electron: The Workhorse of Small Satellite Launches

Since its first orbital launch in 2018, Rocket Lab’s Electron has become the second most frequently launched U.S. rocket annually. The company achieved a record 21 launches in 2025 with 100% mission success. Electron is specifically designed for small satellites, offering dedicated and rideshare options with tailored orbits, schedule control, and responsive launch capabilities.

Neutron: The Next Generation

Rocket Lab is developing Neutron, a medium-lift launch vehicle capable of carrying 13 tonnes to orbit. Designed from the ground up to be reusable, Neutron will serve constellation deployment, cargo resupply, and interplanetary missions. The inaugural launch is planned for the second half of 2025, with Launch Complex 3 now operational in Virginia.

End-to-End Space Solutions

Beyond launch services, Rocket Lab offers complete spacecraft design and manufacturing through its Photon platform, industry-leading solar cells powering over 1,000 spacecraft, and flight-proven satellite subsystems. This integrated approach allows the company to cover all customer needs from mission conception to orbit.

Mission Success and Growth

Rocket Lab has delivered over 200 satellites to orbit for government and commercial customers, enabling operations in national security, scientific research, Earth observation, climate monitoring, and communications. With a backlog of $1.05 billion and revenues of $436.2 million in 2024 (78% annual growth), the company is solidly positioned for continued expansion in the rapidly growing space economy.
